You can comment on this post with your acts of kindness to make them count towards the 1 million and show your support to Nahla’s 2020 challenge. Nahla Summers, the founder of Sunshine People, for her 2020 challenge will set about travelling around the world completing 20 challenges of kindness in 20 different countries. However she is completing this on an ElliptiGO bike and plans to make two World Records in the process of this epic and adventurous, some might say crazy, 4500 mile trip. The challenges she has to complete in each country will vary from giving a day of free hugs in Finland, to feeding 100 people with £10 in Estonia, to setting up a Free Listening movement (Urban Confessional) in Slovania. It will start on the 1st August in the UK and finish in Luxembourg on the 17th November World Kindness day. Taking a total of 3 and half months. It will be made into a film and have dedicated support of social media and film support with her. As well as film distribution people working on getting the film out to the world. Why is that so important/ Because when we share a story of kindness or have a conversation about it, we promote more kindness. The extremely talented Phil Beastall, whose recent work 'Love is a Gift' went viral, will also be involved by making short films based on people within the organisations that sponsor the making of this challenge to happen. Businesses will also get the bonus opportunity to partner with the 2020 Sunshine People challenge by being part of the documentary. There will also be a chance for individuals to get involved too through the kick starter campaign that will be launched on the 1st March and end on the 30th March 2020. There will be some incredible opportunities that should not be missed but they will be limited so you'll need to be quick. Kindness costs nothing and the effects are far greater.
So this is the 2019 Sunshine People challenge. When you think cycling across America couldn't be more of a challenge, 2019 challenge might just top it. The event will start in mid February in Swanage, Dorset. Nahla will then spend the next six weeks walking North until she reaches, Gretna Green, on her birthday on the 30th March 2019. It will be cold and it will be slow but it will not be boring. This time, Nahla is asking strangers to #walkwithme to keep her company, share their stories of kindness and life. You can find her on the app, Map my walk, on the preplanned route, 'Walk with me for kindness'. She will be visiting 19 schools promoting kindness along the way with some schools who are always seeking out ways to support our young to be there best. This will be done through speaking with the students and conducting workshops that are all based on promoting kindness. Media coverage and videos of the event will be provided and we do love when you follow them as we find it promotes more kindness, thats what we are told anyway. Did I mention it was going to be cold, like freezing cold.........for that alone it must deserve a #sponsorkindness to show your support for the upcoming challenge. Thank you in advance for your act of kindness.
